Elected the Representative for the Environmental Lecture Series
Oct 2023 - Mar 2025 • 1 yr 5 mos
Leading interdisciplinary education
My journey into leading the Environmental Lecture Series (RiVo)1 at the Technical University of Munich (TUM)2 came naturally as my engagement with the initiative grew and became solid. I was invited by the current leader to co-lead the project. To formally step into this position, which requires official election by the student council, I submitted my application to the AStA and was elected in the 354. Sitzung des Fachschaftenrates and reelected a year later.
For three consecutive semesters, I had the privilege of serving as the Beauftragte für die Ringvorlesung Umwelt, an experience that was incredibly rewarding and fulfilling. From building a strong and passionate team to organizing impactful lectures that continue to inspire students and raise awareness about critical environmental issues, this role allowed me to promote sustainability on campus through interdisciplinary learning as well as to connect with different communities at TUM. It was both an honour and a pleasure to lead RiVo and I am so grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of it, that I remain an active member, committed to supporting the current leaders in ensuring the ongoing success of the lecture series.
